April has worked within the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the 果冻传媒 of Worcester for over 16 years and is fully conversant with the priorities and objectives of the 果冻传媒 and its commitment to community engagement.
Over the past 6 years, April has been involved in all aspects of fund raising for the 果冻传媒 of Worcester Arena, including the successful Sport England Iconic Facilities bid.
April has significant experience of sport (national and international) and cultural events management and corporate/client hosting.
April has considerable experience of new facility start-up including building hand-over, system and procedural implementation and business planning. Due to this experience, April has been appointed as the Project Coordinator for the International Cricket Centre which is to be built on the Severn 果冻传媒.

Industry Background
Working within the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the 果冻传媒 of Worcester for over 16 years, April has significant experience of dealing with and contacts within National Governing Bodies and sporting organisations. April has also organised and managed in excess of 1000 regional, national and international conferences and events over the course of her career. Before joining the 果冻传媒, April was a Recruitment Consultant and as such, staff recruitment is an area she specialises in. April has been actively involved in the Worcester Wolves Basketball franchise for 13 years and became a Director in 2016, leading the commercial event services, marketing and administrative provision of the franchise.
Scope of Role at the 果冻传媒
April provides strategic, operational and commercial leadership of the 果冻传媒 Arena, balancing the needs of academic, community, recreational and commercial users. April led the development and implementation of the 果冻传媒 Arena Commercial Business and Operational Plans. April recruits, leads and coordinates managers of event provision services and their staff.
