Sarah is the PGCE Secondary Course Leader. Prior to joining the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ of Worcester, Sarah has worked in secondary education as a middle and senior leader with roles including Head of Humanities and Assistant Head. She established and led a successful School Direct Alliance in the East Midlands and had led programmes for both new and recently qualified teachers across the Multi-Academy Trust.
With over 20 years of teaching, Sarah began her teaching career with a BA Religious Education (with QTS) from the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ of Sunderland, before leading RE in a variety of secondary schools. Whilst still working in a school, she gained her MA Education at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ of Nottingham, exploring the role that mentoring has in preparing teachers for leadership posts. She is currently undertaking doctoral research exploring the contribution ITE makes to school improvement.
