Dr Oliver Case
Despite living in London throughout his studies, Oliver Case described “feeling part of a really lively community of students and researchers.”
Dr Oliver Case, graduated with a PhD after submitting a thesis providing an ecocritical study of Virginia Woolf’s novels from 1927 to 1941.
Since commencing his studies at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½, Dr Case has published articles, chapters, and indexes as well as presenting at nine international conferences, and becoming a well-known member of the International Virginia Woolf Society. Following graduation, he is planning his next research project as well as drafting a proposal for a book based on his thesis.
Speaking of his supervisors; Dr Whitney Standlee and Dr Lucy Arnold, Dr Case said “They’ve been consistently encouraging, inspiring, and challenging; it’s been a privilege to work alongside them.”
“I lived and breathed this research project for three and a half years, and I’m a tiny bit sad it’s over. I’ve loved every day of it.”
