Weekly pollen and fungal spore forecast summary
Forecast to early May 2025: Pollen: Tree pollen High/Very High; Spores: Low/Moderate. Please note that this forecast is now only for the West Midlands Region.
Grass Pollen Count - Low
Grass pollen season will begin in April or May. Grass season not early this year due to insufficient rainfall so far this Spring.
Tree Pollen Count - Very High
Birch pollen at a very high risk initially during sunny, breezy weather, going into decline from mid April and will be finished by end of the month. Ash pollen will also be airborne but will also go into decline soon. Oak pollen is just starting and the season will take off from mid-April, continuing throughout this forecast period.
Fungal Spore Levels - Moderate
Pleospora will be airborne during mild, dry weather and now into peak season. Other types will be generally low risk.
Weed Pollen Count - Low
Weed pollen season will begin in April or May but will be at low risk.
